Hue DMZ tour from Da Nang by Train
7:00 a.m: Our driver will pick you up at your hotel in Da Nang and transfer you to Da Nang Train Station. Upon arrival at the railway station, check-in and get on the train. The trip lasts almost 3 hours on the train, and you will satisfy your eyes with the breathtaking landscape of central Vietnam’s nature. Admire the beauty of the majestic beaches and mountains through the window and take photos to preserve the unique scenery.
At 11:00 a.m: Our driver and guide will pick you up at Hue Station and depart the day trip to discover the Demilitarized Zone in Quang Tri Province was the site of some of the fiercest and bloodiest battles during the war between Vietnam and USA in the years from 1954 to 1975
Arrive in Quang Tri and enjoy lunch at the local restaurant. Continue the trip by visiting the Hien Luong Bridge cross the Ben Hai River. Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River have important historical significance, because they represent the love and solidarity of the Vietnamese people, determined to regain national independence.
Then visit Vinh Moc Tunnels. The Vinh Moc tunnel complex was built in many stages, starting in 1966 and put into use until 1971. You will be surprised to see wells, kitchens, rooms for each family and even even a clinic in the tunnels. The Vinh Moc tunnel network reflects the underground life of villagers during the war against America. Vinh Moc Tunnels are the truest testament to the years of war, the strong vitality, the stubborn will to protect the Fatherland and especially the intelligence and creativity of the Vietnamese people
After visiting the tunnels, our car will take you back to Hue and drop you off at the hotel.
